PM Visits UK
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a three day official visit
to the UK on November 12-14 , 2015. This was the first bilateral visit after
nine years. Former Prime minister Dr.Manmohan Singh last visited in 2006.
He was also there in 2009, but for the G20 summit.
During the visit , PM Modi met the British Counterpart David
Cameron, held extensive talks on various important issues, signed key accords,
addressed the British Parliament.
PM Modi paid respects to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue outside the
British Parliament, visited the recently acquired houses of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
that will soon be turned into a museum on his life and contribution, and
unveiled a statue of Basaveshwara, a
renowned philosopher, scholar and stateman.

plant in Tamil Nadu.

infrastructure in 5 years.

Expanding services under Digital India and Make
in India initiative.

To open a new hospital in Chandigarh.
